Reservation Information
- Primary Contact Renter must 21 years of age or older.
- Payment in full is necessary to reserve location and date.
- All Fees paid are not refundable.
- Changes to reservations must be made in person by Primary Renter and maybe subject to a $20.00 rescheduling fee.

Event Day Reminders
- Bring extra toilet paper, seat covers, soap, and garbage bags for your party. Restrooms at public parks are not guaranteed to have toiletries during your reservation time.
- Place your acquired Reserved Facility Sign at or above eye level facing the nearest street.
- Bring copy of approved application with you as proof of reservation or rental.

- What dates are available for a park site reservation?

Please call 661-721-3335 to inquire availability on desired date. You must be 21 or older to reserve a park site. Full payment is necessary in order to hold a date.
- How much does it cost to reserve a park site?

$50.00 for a all day reservation. We accept cash, card, and checks made out to the City of Delano. All Fees paid are not refundable.
- How far ahead can I make a park site reservation?

Park site reservation applications will be accepted up to one (1) year in advance.
- Can I change the date of my site reservation?

Yes, a fee of $20.00 will be applied. Cancelations are non-refundable.
- What park site is equipped with a accessible electrical outlets?

No park site is equipped with accessible electricity. Only Cecil North Park Stage has accessible electrical outlets and can be reserved for $75.00. Electricity is not accessible or turned on without a reservation.
- What are city parks hours of availability?

6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Per City Code 9.16.110
- Is alcohol allowed at parks?

No, the consumption of alcohol is prohibited in all city parks. An alcohol permit is included in a park site reservation. Alcohol can only be consumed only within the bounds of the reserved park site.
- What time do city park lights turn on and off?

On time varies throughout the year and set to turn on within 30 mins after sunset and off at 10:00 p.m.
- Is the stage at Cecil Park North available for reservation?

Yes, it is a separate reservation space no included with Cecil Park North gazebo site. If not reserved all park guest may use it on a first come first serve basis. To reserved it is a $75.00 fee. Electricity is not accessible or turned on without a paid reservation.

- Can you bring your own BBQ grill to a city park?

Yes, we suggest a gas powered grill. If charcoal, please disposed of ashes properly and do not leave it on park turf. This can damage the turf and or cause harm to individuals.
- Are bounce structures allowed on park property?

Yes, we suggest vendors with valid city business licenses and insurance. Vendors are required to add the City of Delano to the insurance. Once added, please submit a copy to our office along with endorsement letter. If the previous insurance measures are not followed, it is at party’s own risk. No vehicles are allowed on park turf even to just drop off supplies, due to turf and watering system damage. City Code 9.16.070
- Are Inflatable Water Slides allowed in city parks?

No, due to turf damage and unavailable water source.
- Is a food truck vendor allowed to serve at my park site reservation?

Yes, but limited to street parking only. No vehicles of any kind are allowed on park turf. Per City Code 9.16.070.
- Do I need a Special Events Permit?

A special event permit if necessary for but are not limited to, concerts, parades, circuses, fairs, festivals, block parties, street fairs, community events, mass participation sports (such as marathons and other running events), athletic or sporting events, and community celebrations and observances conducted on public property or public rights-of-way. Also, any other organized activity involving fifteen or more persons conducted by a person for a common or collective use, purpose or benefit which involves the use of, or has an impact on, public property or facilities and which may require the provision of city public services in response there to which is open to the public; Per City Code 10.24.010
- Are taco trucks allowed at my park site reservation?

Yes, but only street parking only. No vehicles of any kind are allowed on park turf. City Code 9.16.070.
- Can I sell alcohol at my public event?

Yes, if must acquire a Special Events Permit, ABC Permit, along with adhering to additional site rules and regulations.
