Delano need better animal controls services. It is to my understanding that the animal control services are only available M-F until about 5 pm. The issue is that most citizens of Delano know this...

Delano need better animal controls services. It is to my understanding that the animal control services are only available M-F until about 5 pm. The issue is that most citizens of Delano know this and work around the law. Many dog owners let their dog roam the streets at night. I personally have an issue with neighborhood dogs using the bathroom on my front lawn. I have also come across aggressive dogs while taking a stroll through neighborhood. This could be a death sentence to many citizens. I believe the City of Delano should provide a more aggressive stance on both patrolling and citations. The owner has no responsibility unless caught red handed. Owners know, and understand the work day of animal control and work around the law by letting their animals roam after the normal working hours.
